These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using our website and purchasing products from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, along with our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policies shown on our website.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

1. About Karma E-bikes

Karma E-bikes ("Karma E-bikes", "we", "us", or "our") sells electric bike conversion kits, batteries, bundles, accessories, and related products.

2. Who Can Place an Order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the applicable age of majority in your country, to purchase products from our website.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

You meet the applicable age requirement.
The information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are legally permitted to purchase and use the products in your country.

3. Our Products

We do our best to make sure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, colours, dimensions, and other information on our website are accurate.

However, small differences may occur between production batches, including differences in packaging, appearance, displays, connectors, accessories, or other components.

Where products have selectable options, such as wheel size, battery capacity, display type, or other specifications, it is your responsibility to select the option that is suitable for your bike and intended use.

If you are unsure whether a product is compatible with your bike, please contact us before placing your order.

4. Installation and Use

Our conversion kits contain electrical and mechanical components and must be installed correctly.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

The kit is compatible with your bicycle.
The bicycle is suitable for conversion.
The kit is installed correctly and safely.
All electrical connections are secure.
The bicycle's brakes, frame, wheels, tyres, and other components are suitable for the converted bike.
The product is used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The bike is used safely and responsibly.

If you are not confident installing a conversion kit yourself, we recommend having it installed by a suitably qualified or competent person.

5. Local Laws and Regulations

Electric bike laws and regulations vary between countries and regions.

Motor power limits, assisted speed limits, equipment requirements, registration requirements, insurance requirements, and where electric bikes may legally be ridden can differ depending on where you live.

It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws that apply to you and where you ride.

Karma E-bikes does not guarantee that a particular conversion kit is legal for road use in every country, region, or situation.

6. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

Your order will normally be accepted when we dispatch the products.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

A product is unavailable.
There is an obvious pricing or product-information error.
We suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

7. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed on our website in the currency selected by you.

Applicable taxes will be shown where required, and shipping costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

We may change our prices from time to time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment is taken at checkout using the payment methods available on our website.

Third-party payment providers, including services such as PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and card payment providers, may have their own terms and conditions and eligibility requirements.

8. Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to specific conditions shown at the time of the promotion.

Unless stated otherwise:

Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Only one discount code may be used per order.
Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers.
Promotional codes are valid only for the period stated.
We may end or change a promotion where reasonably necessary.

Any promotion will remain subject to applicable consumer laws.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping information, available delivery methods, estimated delivery times, and applicable shipping charges are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have specifically agreed otherwise with you.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is handled by the relevant shipping carrier.

Customers should inspect their package as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your package appears damaged when delivered, please take photographs of the packaging and contact us as soon as possible.

Our responsibilities regarding damaged, lost, or delayed deliveries are subject to applicable consumer law and our Shipping Policy.

10. Returns and Refunds

Our Return and Refund Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, defective products, and other issues with orders.

Nothing in our Return and Refund Policy or these Terms removes or restricts any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Warranty

Products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty or a Karma E-bikes warranty for the period stated on the relevant product page or warranty documentation.

Unless otherwise stated, warranty coverage is intended to cover manufacturing defects.

Warranty coverage does not normally include problems caused by:

Incorrect installation.
Incorrect wiring or electrical connections.
Misuse or abuse.
Accidents or crashes.
Modification or alteration.
Water damage or water ingress where the product is not designed for such exposure.
Normal wear and tear.
Improper maintenance.
Use outside the manufacturer's specifications.
Failure to follow installation or operating instructions.

Batteries naturally lose capacity over time and with repeated charging and use. Normal battery capacity loss is not, by itself, considered a manufacturing defect.

If you believe your product has a warranty issue, contact us at krama.bike@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the problem. Photos or video may also be requested so that we can investigate the issue.

Any warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

12. Safety

Electric bike conversion kits contain electrical components and batteries that must be handled responsibly.

Never:

Puncture or physically damage a battery.
Short-circuit a battery.
Open or modify a battery unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
Expose a battery to conditions outside its specified operating limits.
Use damaged batteries or electrical components.
Continue using a product that appears unsafe or seriously damaged.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging, storage, installation, and use.

You are responsible for using the products safely and in accordance with applicable laws.

13. Your Account

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for keeping your account information and login details secure.

You must notify us if you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission.

You agree not to:

Use our website for an unlawful purpose.
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt our website.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
Submit false or misleading information.
Submit fake or fraudulent reviews.

By submitting content to us, you give Karma E-bikes a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display, and share that content for our business, marketing, and promotional purposes.

If you do not want us to use content you have submitted for promotional purposes, please contact us.

15. Intellectual Property

The Karma E-bikes name, branding, logo, photographs, videos, product descriptions, designs, graphics, text, and other content on our website are owned by us or used with permission.

You may view and use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially use our content without our prior written permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

We will always be responsible for liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

This may include losses such as loss of business, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity where the law allows such limitations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
